Hello All:
When I arrived at Unity Village in 2014, 2017 seemed like an eternity. How could I possibly make it through three years of Missouri winters after living in the Caribbean for most of my life. The first thing I did when I arrived in Missouri was to affirm mild winters for the time I was going to be here, and so far that has been the case. There is nothing like a affirmation!
I really had no idea what to expect from this class, but having listened to the first five of Professor Nichol's lectures on Emerson, Thoreau and the Transcendentalist Movement, I think fascinating would be a bit of an understatement in describing what I have learned to date. This is going to be quite a journey into transcendentalism!
Hi Leah,
ReplyDeleteNo, there is nothing like an affirmation. So when you go back home don't affirm that the Caribbean winters be like those in Missouri or you might have some disgruntled neighbors.
I would like to know more about you other than you are from the Caribbean and you are finishing up at Unity. Congratulations by the way.
Peace!
Andy
Thank you Leah for the mild winters in Missouri! You are always welcomed in Philadelphia!
